can 9mm reloading dies used for 38 super?
Very interesting question. At first glance, I said no. But after giving the question a little thought, the answer is yes in a way.
1) Even though the rim diameter is different, you could still use the SAME shell holder for both cartridges.
2) The overall cartridge length is different, but there is no rule stating that you must full-length resize your brass every single time. Both cartridges could shoot same diameter bullets even though the neck diameter is slightly different. If you use a 9mm die to resize the neck of a 38 super brass, you’ll get a slightly undersized neck but the size difference is not big enough to prevent you from seating the bullet. So, you CAN use
